Emergency nurses know how to have a good time. And they’ll have plenty of occasions to do so at Emergency Nursing 2025. ENA’s biggest event of the year is filled with a plethora of networking events and parties for attendees to socialize, forge meaningful connections and celebrate the best of the best in emergency nursing.

All-Attendee Meet and Greet | Sept. 17, 4:30-5:45 p.m. | Hilton New Orleans Riverside Grand Salon

The All-Attendee Meet and Greet has been reimagined this year. Now held in the conference headquarters hotel, there will be spaces designated for international attendees, military and uniformed services, government affairs, emerging professionals and advanced practice nurses — all around a central gathering spot for everyone.

“This was designed for more engagement among different specialties,” said ENA Director of Meetings and Events Phillip Ridley. “They can navigate through spaces and engage with others with mutual interests.” Attendees are encouraged to mingle with as many groups as they’d like, he said.

The first 300 attendees will receive a ticket for a free drink. A cash bar is available.

First-Timers Meet and Greet | Sept. 17, 4:30-5:45 p.m. | Hilton New Orleans Riverside St. James Ballroom

Newcomers can make new acquaintances while gaining practical skills to navigate the conference. They will learn about how to use the ENA Events App, tips for planning each day and how to get the most out of their conference experience. First-time attendees are encouraged to also join the All-Attendees Meet and Greet, which runs simultaneously.

The first 100 attendees will receive a ticket for a free drink. A cash bar is available.

Nursing Excellence Awards Mixer | Sept. 17, 6 to 7:30 p.m. | Hilton New Orleans Riverside Grand Ballroom

This invitation-only event celebrates the rock stars of emergency nursing. It brings together the honorees and award recipients who have been recognized by ENA, the ENA Foundation, Academy of Emergency Nursing, the Journal of Emergency Nursing and ENA Connection for their contributions to excellence in the specialty.

Cocktail attire is encouraged. One drink and passed appetizers are included. A cash bar is available.
