As ENA prepares to bring the emergency nursing community together once again, I couldn’t be more excited to welcome everyone to Emergency Nursing 2025 in the vibrant city of New Orleans. There’s truly no other event like it — where thousands of emergency nurses gather together to learn, connect and celebrate the incredible work we do every day.

From the moment you step into the convention center, you’ll feel the energy and passion that defines our specialty. Whether it’s attending inspiring keynotes from speakers such as mountaineer Jeff Evans, exploring cutting-edge innovations in emergency care inside the Experience Hall, or simply catching up with friends and colleagues from across the country during the many meet and greets or the always exciting Welcome Reception, Emergency Nursing 2025 is where lifelong memories and professional growth happen side by side.
New Orleans, with its rich culture, music and hospitality, provides the perfect backdrop for this year’s event. I’m looking forward to sharing a few beignets, soaking in the jazz and seeing how this remarkable city comes alive with ENA in town. We know emergency nurses know how to have a good time, so what better place to do that?
Over the years, I’ve made some of my most meaningful connections and learned some of my most valuable lessons at ENA’s annual conference. The high-quality education presentations have informed my practice, supported my leadership development and opened my mind to the many ways emergency nurses impact patients through clinical care and compassionate support.
I’ve also met some of the most amazing people within the ENA community — individuals I’m happy to call friends, peers and mentors. They remind me why we do what we do and that I always have someone I can reach out to for support. Similarly, I’ve had relationships grow out of conference conversations that have given me a chance to help others when they need a lift.
It didn’t take long for me to realize the energy everyone talks about coming out of ENA’s annual conference, the boost they need to continue doing the job they love. That’s the spirit of tenacity, which is such a fitting theme for New Orleans and Emergency Nursing 2025.
