Attendees will get the chance to earn prizes by completing missions as part of Play. Score. Win! at Emergency Nursing 2026.
Emergency Nursing 2026 provides more than a chance for emergency and forensic nurses to learn and reconnect with the ENA community. With the return of Play. Score. Win!, attendees will have the opportunity to tap into their competitive side all week long.
The best part about this interactive game, which rolled out at Emergency Nursing 2023 in San Diego, is seeing the way conference attendees commit to accomplishing the missions, according to ENA Marketing Manager Tim Mucha.
“I see and hear people going around conference, talking about it, giving each other hints of where missions can be completed, or even talking to staff about where they can earn more points so they can climb the leaderboard,” he said. “It’s added a new level of engagement to the event.”
The goal of the game, which is played by downloading the Goosechase app, is to complete the most missions to earn points. For example, one mission — Desert Disco Drip — will ask players to snap selfies of their outfits for the Welcome Reception. Participants who share photos featuring them and some new friends they made during the conference will complete a mission. Another simply requires attendees to highlight their favorite sessions of the day.
At the end of conference, players who earn enough points will be entered into a drawing for prizes, which include registration for Emergency Nursing 2027 and a handwoven Mexican blanket from El Rancho Supply. This year’s event will have three point thresholds:
- Level I: 5,000+ points
- Level II: 12,000+ points
- Level III: 22,000+ points
Competitive Advantage
Missions include snapping selfies, answering questions and recording videos at the conference.
Although there aren’t any cheat codes for scoring the most points, Mucha said the right strategy can go a long way. Play. Score. Win! is designed to reward those who take advantage of all Emergency Nursing 2026 has to offer. In other words, no matter how attendees choose to enjoy this conference, there will be a way for them to score points from it.
Mucha said there are also ways for participants to take a more proactive approach to scoring points. Turning alerts on through the Goosechase app, he noted, is the best way to track as many missions as possible.
“Some missions pop up and then disappear after just a few hours,” he said. “If you miss it while it’s live, it’s gone forever — or until Emergency Nursing 2027.”
Not all missions are created equal. Many of the missions that reward the most points will be centralized in the Experience Hall, Mucha said. There, participating exhibitors will share secret codes with those who are playing the game. Each code corresponds to a 1,000-point mission. The takeaway: Talk to vendors inside the Experience Hall.
Winners of the Level I and Level II prizes will be announced in Experience Hall on Sept. 30 around 11:30 a.m., Mucha said. The Level III winners will be announced during the Sun-Rise & Reflect Session, which begins at 8 a.m. on Oct. 1.
