ENA members will get the chance to impact the future of the association and emergency nursing when they exercise their right to vote for the ENA Board of Directors and the Leadership Development and Elections Committee.
In July, members received an email notification from ENA announcing the slate of candidates.
New this year, voting will open on Sept. 3 and close at 6 p.m. Pacific time on Sept. 6. The shorter cycle is designed to maximize voting at Emergency Nursing 2024, giving members the opportunity to meet the candidates on-site while providing increased recognition for the election results. ENA will host a Candidates Forum on Sept. 3 from 2-3:30 p.m. Pacific time in Ballroom I of The Venetian Resort Las Vegas, and it will be livestreamed on ENA’s Facebook page. Members will have the opportunity to learn more about the candidates during this event. Additionally, a Meet the Candidates event will be held outside the Experience Hall on Sept. 5 from 4-4:30 p.m. Pacific time.
ENA members will receive a link to the online ballot and instructions for voting from ENAElection@electionservicescorp.com when the polls open on Sept. 3.
Votes must be cast no later than 6 p.m. Pacific time on Sept. 6. Members will vote for president-elect, secretary/ treasurer, three members of the ENA Board of Directors, and five members of the Leadership Development and Elections Committee.
The results of the election will be announced on Sept. 7 during the “Ignite the Future Celebration” that closes out Emergency Nursing 2024, posted on the ENA website and social media platforms, and published in the November issue of ENA Connection.
